Get ready for a frightfully fun night—Thursday Night Live is back with a Halloween Edition on October 24th at 7 PM and it’s going to be bigger, spookier, and more fun than ever!
Calling all performers: Whether you’re a musician, poet, comedian, or storyteller, we want YOU to take the stage! Show us your talent—extra points if it’s Halloween-themed! We’ve got a costume contest with prizes too, so don’t forget to dress up. Sound check is at 6 PM, and the show kicks off at 7 PM.
But that’s not all—you don’t have to perform to be part of the fun! Bring your family, bring your friends, and enjoy an awesome evening of live performances, sweet treats, and Halloween surprises.
The more, the merrier!
Join us every Monday from 10-11 AM (PDT) in the church Zoom room (8183460820) for the Interfaith Caregivers’ Support Group.
The group is flexible in how we define “caregiver”. A caregiver might be someone caring for an elderly loved one, a differently-abled loved one, a young child, or a special needs pet. ANYONE who is struggling to meet the demands of care-giving is welcome to attend!
The structure of the support group looks like this. We begin by reading one of the daily devotions from a book by Alan Wolfelt called Grief One Day at a Time. The reading is screen shared on Zoom for those who don’t yet have a copy of the book. We discuss any issues the devotion may have raised for us. Then we do check ins. By starting with a devotion, this allows attendees to get to know one another a little before we start with check ins.
Anyone from around the world is welcome to attend. The group is open to people of all faiths – and no faith. We hope you will join us – and invite anyone else you know who might be struggling with the demands of care-giving – this Monday!
