TNL 10/24

Get ready for a frightfully fun night—Thursday Night Live is back with a Halloween Edition on October 24th at 7 PM and it’s going to be bigger, spookier, and more fun than ever!

Calling all performers: Whether you’re a musician, poet, comedian, or storyteller, we want YOU to take the stage! Show us your talent—extra points if it’s Halloween-themed! We’ve got a costume contest with prizes too, so don’t forget to dress up. Sound check is at 6 PM, and the show kicks off at 7 PM.

But that’s not all—you don’t have to perform to be part of the fun! Bring your family, bring your friends, and enjoy an awesome evening of live performances, sweet treats, and Halloween surprises.

The more, the merrier!

Notice:

Great news, Community Partners, WHCC has a new nighttime janitorial crew!

Thank you all for your patience during the recent transition. We know it got a little messy and with church volunteers filling in the gaps here and there, we really learned how much work and how important it is to keep this campus tidy. This new crew comes at an increased cost, but we are committed to providing a comfortable meeting space and cannot rely on nightly volunteers to do the work.

Now that things have been sorted on our end, we are asking for the support of all campus users:

If your group fills a room’s trash can, please remove the full bag and deposit it in one of our outdoor larger trash cans. If your group has messy snacks and there are crumbs all over the floor, please use the dustpan and broom provided to sweep the room before you leave. Rooms are cleaned nightly, but with multiple groups using a room each day, we need your cooperation to make sure the space is fresh for the next group.

If your group has food waste, we have a new city mandated green bin for all food waste. Please remove food waste from the room at the end of your usage and deposit it in the unlocked GREEN ORGANICS BIN near the large dumpsters in the parking lot. This is a new requirement that we are not exempt from and failure to participate can result in fines to WHCC.

This new green bin also comes at an increased cost to WHCC, but there is no option to opt-out, so we require the participation of all campus users. As always, please reach out to the church office to report any excessive untidiness or damage.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
