Children’s Choirs

Youth Choir & Youth Band & Band of Brothers

WHCC’s Youth Choir and Youth Band!

WHCC has a lively Children’s Choir and Youth Band. We rehearse during the school year on Sundays in the Sanctuary immediately following coffee time from 11:15-12. Any child with a passion to sing or play an instrument is encouraged to join!

The children’s choir sings occasionally during the Sunday Service, at special events and all holidays including the Christmas Carol Concert. Enrollment is open & free to all children!

Band of Brothers is WHCC’s new advanced musical group and they play at the end of service and for special events.

Woodland Hills Community Church has been associated with the Boy Scouts since the church’s inception in 1947.  Boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 5th grade are welcome to join.

If you have questions, please see the church’s charter representative: Emma Wilkins.  Emma is our Children & Youth Ministry Director as well.  She can help your boy or girl get involved in the new pack.

Our church also hosts two Daisy troops from the Girl Scouts (Troop 3056 that meets Mondays from 5:30-6:30 PM in Smith Lounge and Troop 1816 that meetings Fridays from 3:30-4:30 PM), neither of these troops are affiliated with the church.  They are two of the 22 community partners that WHCC hosts.

Children of all ages are welcome to join Sunday School each week during the worship service at 10:00am

Woodland Hills Community Church (WHCC) welcomes children of all ages to Sunday School each week during the worship service at 10:00am, lead by Marshelle Giggle-Mills, our Children and Youth Ministries Director.  We currently meet in Harter Hall. Our curriculum is designed for church families and lessons are taught using storytelling, games, arts & crafts and music in a fun and loving environment. 

WHCC is dedicated to providing a safe environment for all children.  Every teacher and volunteer has had a National Criminal Background Screening completed.
